ITINERARY

Day 1 SHIN-OSAKA – KII-TANABE – KAWAYU ONSEN

Take the train from Osaka to Kii-Tanabe (Kuroshio) (Travel Time 135min.).
Upon arrival, meet staff at the tourist information centre for a tour orientation.
Then, take the public bus from Kii-tanabe to Kawayu Onsen and check-in at
accommodation.

Day 2 KAWAYU ONSEN – HOSSHINMON-OJI – YUNOMINE ONSEN (B/L/D)

Leave your luggage at the front desk, it will be transferred separately.
Take your lunch box with you, given at the front desk.
Transfer to Hosshinmon-oji with your guide by bus.
Walk across Kumano Kodo Hosshinmon-oji until Kumano Hongu Taisha, and also visit at heritage centre and Oyunohara.
Then either 1) walk from Hongu to Yunomine Onsen-Dainichi-Goe (Travel Time 90min.) or
2) take the public bus from Hongu Taisha to Yunomine Onsen (Travel Time 20min.).
Then check-in your accommodation.

Day 3 YUNOMINE ONSEN – HITARI – DAIMONZAKA – KATSUURA ONSEN

Your luggage will be transferred separately.
Transfer to Hitari by bus and enjoy a boat ride across Kumano river with your guide, visiting Kumano Hayatama Taisha.
Then, use the public bus service (Shingu-Nachi-Daimonzaka Chushajo) and walk to Kumano Nachi Taisha, visiting also Seiganto-ji and Nachi falls. Then, take
the public bus from Nachi to Katsuura and check-in at Katsura Onsen.

Day 4 KATSUURA ONSEN – SHIN-OSAKA

After breakfast, take the train from Katsuura to Shin Osaka on your own.
