ITINERARY

Day 1 TOKYO (ARRIVAL)

Arrive at Narita (Narita International Airport) or Haneda (Tokyo International Airport).
You will be met by an English speaking assistant and helped to board an airport bus or train.
Transfer to hotel. 

Accommodation: Stay at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa (sup room) or similar – TOKYO

Day 2 TOKYO (CITY TOUR)

Breakfast at hotel.
Guided sightseeing tour of Tokyo (09:00-17:00) using private car & public transport.
Tokyo Tower / Meiji Jingu Shrine / Harajuku / Imperial Palace / Asakusa
Return to hotel by public transport.

Accommodation: Stay at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa (sup room) or similar – TOKYO
Breakfast, Lunch

Day 3 TOKYO – MT.FUJI & HAKONE – TOKYO

Breakfast at hotel.
Guided sightseeing tour of Mt. Fuji & Hakone (8:00-19:00) using private car.
Mt.Fuji 5th station (depending on traffic and weather conditions) / Ropeway ride from Owakudani to Togendai /
Boat Cruise on Lake Ashi from Togendai to Hakonemachi
Return to hotel by private car.

Day 4 TOKYO – NAGOYA – TAKAYAMA

Breakfast at hotel.
Your main suitcase will be transferred directly from Tokyo to Kyoto. Please leave your main suitcase with
porter/bell desk by 7:30 AM. (You will travel with just an overnight bag for your night in Takayama)
Transfer to Nagoya by bullet train with your guide.
Transfer to Takayama by express train with your guide.
Guided sightseeing tour of Takayama (8:30-17:00) on foot.
Kusakabe Folk Museum / Jinya House / Kami Sannomachi Street
Hida Beef Dinner at ryokan in Takayama
Accommodation in a Japanese room.

Accommodation: Stay at Hoshokaku – TAKAYAMA
Breakfast, Dinner

Day 5 TAKAYAMA – SHIRAKAWAGO – KANAZAWA – KYOTO

Breakfast at ryokan.
Guided sightseeing tour of Shirakawago & Kanazawa by private car (8:30-16:30).
Explore Shirakawago Village, Gasshozukuri traditional farmhouse on foot.
Transfer to Kanazawa. Kenrokuen / Nomura Samurai House
Tour ends at Kanazawa station.
Transfer to Kyoto by express train without guide.
Upon arrival at Kyoto, you will be met by an English speaking assistant.
Transfer to hotel by free shuttle bus or on foot.

Day 6 KYOTO (CITY TOUR)

Breakfast at hotel.
Guided sightseeing tour of Kyoto (09:00-16:00) using private car.
Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine / Kinkakuji Temple / Kiyomizu Temple / Gion
Tour disbands at Gion.
Your guide will inform you how to go back to your hotel.

Day 7 KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Nara by Kintetsu express train with your guide.
Guided sightseeing tour of Nara (09:00-17:00) using public transport.
Todaiji Temple / Kofukuji Temple / Kasuga Shrine / Nara Park
Return to Kyoto by Kintetsu express train.

Day 8 KYOTO – HIMEJI – KYOTO

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Himeji with your guide by bullet train.
Guided sightseeing tour of Himeji (09:00-13:30) using public transport.
Himeji Castle / Kokoen Garden
Tour ends at Himeji station
Return to Kyoto by bullet train
Free time at your leisure
